About Richmond Scale Ltd.

Richmond Scale Ltd. opened for business in July 2001. In 2005, the company moved to its present location on Annacis Island.

The owner, Al Trewella, started in the scale business in 1960 with an internationally owned scale company.

Al’s son, Scott, also worked in the scale industry starting in 1994. He was hired by Richmond Scale Ltd. in 2002 to help with the business. Scott is now a partial owner and has taken over management of the company.

The company has been fortunate to have hired very capable and willing technicians who also have extensive experience in the industry. The staff pride themselves on providing quality service to all our customers. We are also proud to say that we have maintained a loyal customer base – most of the original customers we had when we started in 2001 still call us today for their scale needs.
